  • SpaceX Falcon 9 will launch 29 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit tonight from launch pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center (if weather permits). The bright nighttime display may be visible beyond Cape Canaveral along the Space Coast.  Florida Today

  • Eastern Florida State College student Kostin Lewis won first place in the Grand Debate held on November 6 at St. Petersburg College’s Seminole Campus—he competed with peers from four Florida colleges.  Space Coast Daily

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Next year, Social Security benefits will increase by 2.8% while Medicare premiums will rise nearly 9.7% for Part B and 3.6% for Part A—changes that may cancel many of the extra benefits.
