  • ULA launched its Atlas V rocket carrying the ViaSat-3 F2 mission from Cape Canaveral at 10:04 p.m. Nov. 13—after a week-long delay due to a valve fix—and the Boeing-made satellite is expected to boost Viasat's broadband service with a 15-year life span.  Florida Today
  • Blue Origin successfully launched its New Glenn rocket on its second voyage, and local residents watched the lift-off from Hangar's Beach at Patrick Space Force Base—marking a milestone for the company's aerospace efforts.  Florida Today
  • Florida Power & Light received the 2025 ReliabilityOne National Reliability Award from PA Consulting for reliable service to over 6 million customer accounts — it also earned the national Reliability Value Award for maintaining low bills while investing in grid improvements to meet future energy needs.  Space Coast Daily
  • Blue Origin attempted to launch its New Glenn rocket yesterday from Cape Canaveral at 2:57 p.m. ET after a delay from a solar storm — ULA also attempted a nighttime launch from Space Launch Complex 41 carrying a ViaSat satellite, events that brought the Space Coast closer to 100 annual launches.  FOX 35 Orlando

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Blue Origin launched its New Glenn rocket on Nov. 13 from Cape Canaveral—its 95th orbital launch this year—and sent NASA's ESCAPADE spacecraft into orbit to study Mars' air and solar eruptions. The 188-foot booster, dubbed Never Tell Me the Odds, landed on a drone ship 375 miles offshore after its flight.  Florida Today
