- ➤ United Launch Alliance rescheduled its Atlas V rocket launch for the ViaSat-3 F2 mission for today from Cape Canaveral with a 44-minute window starting at 10:04 p.m. EST—the team fixed a faulty liquid oxygen valve after last week's scrub, and the new satellite will more than double Viasat’s current bandwidth. - ➤ Eastern Florida State College’s Performing and Visual Arts Department invites the community to join Comfort and Joy, an evening concert of Christmas and sacred music spanning the Renaissance to today performed by the Brevard Chorale. The concerts will be held on December 3 at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Titusville and on December 6 at 7:30 p.m. at EFSC Cocoa Campus Simpkins Fine Arts Center—tickets cost $10 general admission and $5 for students with valid IDs. - ➤ Two bills filed for the 2026 session propose requiring Florida elementary students from second to fifth grade to learn reading and writing cursive so that they must show proficiency by fifth grade—this recalls requirements last seen in 2010.
