- ➤ NASA is urging local skywatchers to check the October sky as two meteor showers will soon light up our view. The Orionid shower will peak on October 21 into the early hours of October 22 while the Draconid shower, aided by a new moon for dark-sky conditions, will be visible earlier in the month. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team won three to zero over USC Lancaster at Orlando Health Stadium Saturday after the game was postponed due to weather. Sophomore Stephen Gilbert scored a hat trick and the Titans will face Miami Dade College Wednesday at 7 p.m. — the match will be broadcast live on WEFS-TV. Space Coast Daily
