- ➤ SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will launch 28 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Thursday morning between 5:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.—the booster will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. Space Coast Daily
- ➤ Elon Musk confirmed that SpaceX will use a ship named Youll Thank Me Later to transport Starships from Starbase, Texas to Cape Canaveral. The company will launch Starship from Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A as soon as next year+ local officials are preparing for increased sonic booms and road closures. Florida Today

- ➤ Brevard County commissioners are weighing asking voters to approve a gas tax increase of 1 to 5 cents per gallon to raise an extra $3.8 million per year for road repairs — rising construction costs have cut planned work from 50 miles of resurfacing last year to 40 miles next year and road reconstruction from 7.5 to 5 miles. - ➤ Indialantic residents Jackson Bjorklund and Caleb Kinnear competed in the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association Championship Regatta held September 13–14 in Charleston, SC as freshmen representing the University of Miami and Rollins College—Kinnear said it was special to sail with his longtime friend from the same hometown.
