- ➤ On Sept. 3, the FAA looked at SpaceX’s plan to launch and land up to 44 Starships and boosters from Kennedy Space Center and said the operations may delay flights by 40 minutes to 2 hours because of temporary airspace hazard zones—impacting many flights during busy times. Aviation officials and a pilot union raised worries at the meeting, while local airline staff said Melbourne airport has not seen any delays. Florida Today
- ➤ The FAA finalized an environmental assessment that lets SpaceX more than double its Falcon 9 launches from the Space Coast, so the company will be able to fly up to 120 missions a year from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Other SSAA games saw wins for teams such as Bayside, Holy Trinity, and Satellite, and several teams will face new opponents in Week 4 (including Viera in Titusville and Melbourne at home).
