- ➤ Brevard Public Schools today launched the Astronautics and Flight Exploration Academy at Merritt Island High School with a ribbon cutting featuring officials like BPS Superintendent Dr. Rendell and School Board Chairman Gene Trent—community partners also attended the event. The program will give students hands-on experience with flight simulators, VR space simulators, drone technology and Mars rover robotics to prepare them for aviation and space careers.
