In West Melbourne on July 23, 22-year-old Jeremyah Campbell shot his grandparents—83-year-old George White, a retired Army veteran and civil rights leader, and 81-year-old Mary White, a retired Sunday school teacher—after an argument, and he is now jailed on two counts of second-degree murder.

The National Hurricane Center says two tropical depressions may form later this week or over the weekend—one near Florida and another from a tropical wave in the central Atlantic.
