- ➤ Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket is scheduled to launch no earlier than August 15th — the company plans to recover the booster Never Tell Me The Odds on the ship Jacklyn. The mission will add competition for SpaceX and may lower launch costs if the reusable booster is successful. Florida Today

- ➤ On June 8, law enforcement arrested 12 suspects in Brevard County for charges including battery, theft, DUI, and resisting arrest — all remain presumed innocent until proven guilty. Space Coast Daily
- ➤ Melbourne police questioned suspect Laway Maharie after new bodycam video showed her allegedly choking cab driver Carol Ann Johnson at the intersection of Babcock and Brevard—she was arrested on one count of battery by strangulation on a person 65 and older and will face court on June 17. - ➤ The City of Melbourne Fire Department donated a Pierce Custom fire engine to Eastern Florida State College’s Public Safety Institute at its June Board of Trustees meeting in Melbourne—this gift will help new recruits and veteran firefighters train in multi-engine fire rescue operations.
