- ➤ Melbourne Orlando International Airport will host Space Coast Honor Flight charter trips this fall that shorten travel time for veterans from Brevard, Indian River and Volusia counties to Washington, D.C. - ➤ A cargo train collided with a semi-truck stuck on the tracks near Lake Washington Road in Melbourne early Wednesday morning, pushing it about 50 yards and prompting Florida East Coast Railway crews to begin repairs and issue a slow order on Thursday—no injuries were reported and police are investigating.
