- ➤ SpaceX will launch a Falcon Heavy with a Viasat satellite from Kennedy Space Center at 10:21 a.m. Monday, April 27 — its boosters will land at Cape Canaveral, while ULA plans an Atlas V launch with Amazon satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 8:52 p.m. Florida Today
- ➤ SpaceX’s Just Read the Instructions drone ship landed its last Falcon 9 booster on Thursday, Apr. 23 and will now support Starship operations from Port Canaveral. The company will use A Shortfall of Gravitas for future booster sea landings as it prepares for upcoming Starship tests. Florida Today

- ➤ Brevard County will soon begin a $19.5 million dredging project north of the Eau Gallie Causeway to remove organic muck from the Indian River Lagoon and pipe it to a spoil site off U.S. 1 approximately seven miles south of Robert Conlan Blvd. Florida Today
- ➤ The National Park Service is recruiting volunteers to join its Sea Turtle Watch Scouts program at Canaveral National Seashore for the 2026 nesting season.
