- ➤ SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will launch 29 Starlink satellites on Tuesday, Apr. 14 from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The booster, which flew missions before, will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship — within a window from 2:13 a.m. to 6:13 a.m. ET. Space Coast Daily

- ➤ Eastern Florida State College is expanding its Cybersecurity program with new labs and a classroom at the Melbourne campus to better prepare students for IT jobs on the Space Coast. - ➤ Eastern Florida State College named Dr. Sandy Handfield the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient in recognition of her 55 years of service as Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs. - ➤ A Burmese python seized by FWC for illegal pet ownership now lives at Brevard Zoo. The snake, which sports bright yellow-and-white skin, will receive special care + ongoing monitoring to address its light sensitivity and other needs. Space Coast Daily

- ➤ Satellite High runner Celina Coryell broke the school record in the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs while also setting the Cape Coast Conference record in the 3200, marking a milestone for her team. Florida Today
- ➤ The Eastern Florida State College baseball team lost both games in a Citrus Conference doubleheader at Daytona State College, falling 4-3 in the first game and 8-7 in extra innings in the second game & will play future road matchups with Pasco-Hernando State College on Tuesday and Santa Fe College in Gainesville on Thursday.
