- ➤ Amazon's Project Kuiper will launch on April 9 between 12-3 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 41 using a ULA Atlas V rocket — it will deliver the first satellites for a constellation aimed at providing fast internet in underserved areas — and will test a system that competes with SpaceX's Starlink. - ➤ Central Florida Winds, a group of volunteer musicians, will celebrate 25 years with a free concert on April 6 at 3 p.m. at Suntree United Methodist Church in Melbourne. - ➤ At Melbourne Orlando International Airport, crews are removing the old bird-of-paradise carpet to install new hard-surface terrazzo flooring—similar to the baggage claim area—and will give away pieces as souvenirs.
