- ➤ A 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class fleeing from Florida Highway Patrol crashed near Mile Marker 201 on I-95 in Cocoa at about 8:30 a.m. Friday when it hit two parked tow trucks, killing three passengers and critically injuring its driver — with a tow truck operator airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne — as investigators continue to probe the crash. - ➤ SpaceX will launch a Falcon 9 rocket today at 3:20 p.m. ET carrying 28 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station — the first stage booster, on its 17th flight, will land later on the droneship Just Read the Instructions in the Atlantic. - ➤ A SpaceX mission led by Chun Wang will launch Monday night from Kennedy Space Center with a crew of four on the first human flight to orbit Earth's poles. Mike Haridopolos joined the Army Corps of Engineers on a waterside tour hosted by the Canaveral Port Authority to see projects funded with more than $150 million that keep Canaveral Harbor safe and protect the Brevard County shoreline.
