  • SpaceX will launch two rockets from the Space Coast starting tomorrow—one Falcon 9 will deploy Starlink satellites while another carrying four astronauts will launch the Fram2 mission, the first human spaceflight to orbit Earth's poles—and weather permitting, viewers in Melbourne may watch both events.  Florida Today

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • NASA said its SpaceX Crew-11 mission will launch four crew members — Commander Zena Cardman, Pilot Mike Fincke, Mission Specialist Kimiya Yui from JAXA and Mission Specialist Oleg Platonov from Roscosmos — to the International Space Station no earlier than July. The crew will run research and technology tests that help prepare for future trips to the Moon and Mars.  Space Coast Daily

  • Palm Bay's Jaida Civil was named Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Basketball for the 2024-25 season after she led her team to its first state championship, averaging 18.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 3.3 steals per game—she also earned Gatorade Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Year and will join the University of Tennessee.  Florida Today
