- ➤ Today lawmakers are considering Florida Senate Bill CS/SB 462, a 71-page proposal that would raise speed limits on interstates from 70 to 75 mph and on four-lane roads outside urban areas from 65 to 70 mph. The bill also redirects sales tax revenue to fund aviation projects, construction programs, and revised safety and utility guidelines+ and sets new deadlines for project planning statewide.
