  • After a scrub on March 12, the Crew-10 launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center took off on March 14 — known as Pi Day — and sent a Falcon 9 rocket with astronauts to the International Space Station. Residents on the Space Coast saw the booster land 7 minutes and 39 seconds later.  Florida Today
  • Assistant Brevard County Manager John Denninghoff retired after 29 years in county government (noted for key projects and emergency responses) and Tad Calkins (a veteran with 19 years in county service) was named interim manager to lead development and environmental services.  Florida Today
  • NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are set to board a SpaceX Dragon capsule to leave the International Space Station and head for a water landing in Florida if Crew-10 launches on schedule on March 19th— they have spent 281 days in orbit and could reach 286 days, nearing a long standing record.  Florida Today
