- ➤ Cocoa High junior Armani Cobb launched Hired After Bars to reduce recidivism by donating clothing and hygiene kits to help formerly incarcerated people prepare for job interviews (with over $30,000 in donations) and has partnered with local and national groups while earning awards. - ➤ Rockledge Gardens in Rockledge has grown from a simple nursery into a community space where visitors can shop, relax, enjoy fresh herbs, ice cream, and plant-based meals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The property also features a (Little Bugs Club) for children and hosts community events in a peaceful natural setting. - ➤ Confronting Childhood Cancer will host its annual Easter 3K Walk/Run on April 4 at Wickham Park in Melbourne to benefit Candlelighters of Brevard. Runners may register beginning at 8 a.m. on race day as the race starts at 9 a.m. followed by an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Space Coast Daily

- ➤ On March 10, 1783, the final naval battle of the American Revolution unfolded off Cape Canaveral when Captain John Barry’s USS Alliance overcame British HMS Sybil after transferring Spanish silver orders. Eric Beckham of Patrick Space Force Base was named Space Systems Command Vehicle Management SNCO of the Year for his leadership in maintaining and repairing a fleet of diverse vehicles and equipment.
