A Cracker Christmas Festival

Gather your Holiday Cards and Packages that are ready for mailing to have them sent and decoratively postmarked from the Christmas Florida Post Office. The next stop is the Christmas Cracker Festival which is a once a year event celebrating the Pioneer days and Christmas Battle (Seminole Wars). This event features live Historical demonstrations, craft vendors and various food booths. The term Cracker refers to a Native Floridian and the sound of the cracking of the whip used to herd large cattle drives throughout our State. It’s just over an hour to Deland’s Stetson Mansion named after John Stetson as in Stetson Cowboy hats. This has become the number one Holiday Home Tour as recognized by USA Today. The Mansion is decked out in Holiday themes throughout. This will be followed by a ride to Ormond Beach which has decorated the places near the former Rockefeller Hotel (The Casements ) and Gardens and Surroundings known as the Historic Ormond Beach Art Walk area and Donni’s Donuts. This will be followed by a Dinner Stop and then homeward bound. Leave the Timbers Teak Clubhouse at 9am return around 9pm Members $90 Guests $95 includes: Guide, Transportation, Sightseeing, Stetson Mansion Tour and included features.
